My Backbend Workshop Series 2 consists of 4 workshops and 1 integrated full length flow which include:
1: Cobra and Bow pose
2: Camel and Kapotasana
3: Hollowback Shapes
4: Chest Stand
5: Integrated Flow
This series provides over 5 hours of instruction which you can practice on demand. It does not have an expiration date so you can repeat it as many times as you like.
Each workshop is taught in my signature “Art of Flex-ability” style which combines flow with mobility and flexibility drills influenced by yoga, contortion and dance.
The first 4 workshops start with a warm up designed to strengthen and stretch the areas of the body we are working with. After the warmup, we explore the mechanics and alignment of each key pose and how you can adapt them to suit your body and goals.
The 5th workshop looks at how you can sequence the poses and transitions covered in the first 4 workshops together in a fun and creative way.
Pre requisites
*Comfortable pushing up into a wheel without the wall
*Comfortable in cobra pose
*Able to reach your heels without blocks in camel pose
Props needed
Mandatory:
1 x strap
2 x blocks
1 x towel
Wall space
Optional:
Resistance band
Ankle weights
Pilates ball
Foam roller
